Adams County Connections is a program of Peer Assistance Services, a non-profit agency that has provided substance abuse prevention and interventions services for more than 20 years. For more information, visit Peer Assistance Services.

Adams County Connections is a mentoring program for the middle school students of
Adams County District 50. The program brings Adams County youth together with caring
adult mentors to provide support and guidance, strengthen community bonding and improve
academic achievement.

Adult volunteers serve as a friend and role model for a youth spending an average of two hours
per week with their mentee in a one-to-one match. Mentors and mentees commit to one year
together and engage in a variety of activities including group recreational activities, life skills
trainings, community service projects, and cultural and sporting events. Most importantly
matches have FUN!
